A consultative approach...
Good Communication Leads to Better Results

Live events; meetings, conventions, and media productions are like living beings with lots of moving parts. As the point person, you have a lot on your plate and sometimes limited resources to accomplish the myriad tasks required in a timely fashion. This is where I suggest that clients apply the principle of 'Relax and Delegate'. Find someone you can trust, with the appropriate specialized knowledge to handle the technical aspects of the program. Let's discuss your needs and concerns, today! I'll help you find the right person for the job, even if it isn't me!

“Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.” - Alan Lakein
Proper Planning Equals Success

They say that the devil is in the details and I can attest to this. The success of any project is in direct proportion to the amount of time and energy spent in preparation. Going over the sequence of events within your event and documenting it is like running a simulation. The more you do it the more likely you are to see what's missing, what's superfluous and where something could go wrong. Ironically, I compare my process to combing your hair, you're almost never going to get it right in one stroke, so, the sooner you call me, the better!

“Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong and at the worst possible moment.” - Murphy's Law
Murphy Can Be Thwarted

I have been battling Murphy's Law my whole career and I have learned how to beat it (or at least how to deal with it successfully...) Having seen this principle operate fairly consistently, particularly in live situations, one constantly thinks in terms of two things; Simplicity and Contingencies. In the planning process above, we'll break the event down into it's essential parts, test and communicate clearly, then be sure to have a backup plan. Things can and will go wrong. If you are properly prepared, your attendees will never know and the show will appear to run smoothly. Let's walk through your event, find the potential sticking points and plan accordingly.

A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
Success Comes in Cans

Getting started early, working together and building a clear vision of what we can accomplish makes the entire project a much more pleasant experience for everyone concerned. When you and your client are comfortable and confident, your attendees feel it too. The notion that all is well runs through the whole team, the whole space the whole crowd. There are few more gratifying sensations than being recognized and rewarded for a job well done. When you work with professionals, that feeling becomes one of the goals. Let's put on a show and make it a great one!

Testimonials

“Ualtar rocks! I originally met him when my former company hired him for a program in San Francisco that was held annually. We hired Ualtar for that program every year for about 4-5 years because of his exceptional attention to detail and ability to interact with our most important international VIPs. We were so impressed with Ualtar that we began taking him on the road with us to other cities as our audiovisual director to insure the same top-quality results when using local AV staff. I can't say enough good things about him and hope to use him again whenever I can.”
- Lynda Logan, Owner, L2 Event Management, LLC

“Ualtar takes great pride in his work and people skills. His technical skills are second to none.... I have always been comfortable leaving Ualtar as my direct contact for my customer. I will have a successful event and a happy customer.”
- Chet Jaynes, Director at PSAV

“Ualtar is the go-to-person for any audio visual needs you may have. He is very well respected in the industry. My business has utilized Ualtar's services and so should you.”
- Dave Pistoni, Owner, Doubledave Video and Multimedia Production
