“Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong and at the worst possible moment.” - Murphy's Law
Murphy Can Be Thwarted
I have been battling Murphy's Law my whole career and I have learned how to beat it (or at least how to deal with it successfully...) Having seen this principle operate fairly consistently, particularly in live situations, one constantly thinks in terms of two things; Simplicity and Contingencies. In the planning process above, we'll break the event down into it's essential parts, test and communicate clearly, then be sure to have a backup plan. Things can and will go wrong. If you are properly prepared, your attendees will never know and the show will appear to run smoothly. Let's walk through your event, find the potential sticking points and plan accordingly.
A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
Success Comes in Cans
Getting started early, working together and building a clear vision of what we can accomplish makes the entire project a much more pleasant experience for everyone concerned. When you and your client are comfortable and confident, your attendees feel it too. The notion that all is well runs through the whole team, the whole space the whole crowd. There are few more gratifying sensations than being recognized and rewarded for a job well done. When you work with professionals, that feeling becomes one of the goals. Let's put on a show and make it a great one!
